Another superb edition of the Spud Run yesterday. We were blessed with fine weather and had a great turnout of enthusiastic mountain runners.
Tom Crudgington of Newcastle Athletic Club romped home in 41.13, setting a course record over the current route. He was followed by Mourne Runners Josh McAtee (45.05) and Jonny Scott (45.22).

The ladies race was a close run thing, with Glens Runners Runner Naomi McCurry (54.03) taking the win by just nine seconds from Karen Wilton (54.12) of Jog Lisburn . Third was Rebecca Magee (55.17) from Newcastle AC.

The Mourne Runners took the mens team prize, while the Glens ladies took honours on home turf ![]()
We love having you all in Glenariffe for the race and hopefully everyone went home happy, fed and watered! Huge thanks to our ever generous sponsor Glens of Antrim Potatoes and our friends at The Sober Irish for the finish line refreshments
Thanks also to the farmers of Glenariffe for permission to cross their land and to Glenariffe Community Centre for the use of their fantastic facilities.
