Quite the week for the Glens Runners! We got out there, put in the hard yards, and had some great results to show for it.
On Monday, Marie, Niamh D, Mary and Eithne lined up at the Broughshane 5 miler. Tough evening for a fast race 🥵
Thursday saw the hill crew visit Scrabo for the penultimate race in the NIMRA championship. Well done to Naomi on another podium finish 👏🏼 A strong showing from Jonny too, taking V45 honours.
Saturday we showed that it’s not just about the running, with Rachael, Brian, Conan and Colin taking part in The GOAT Triathlon in Cushendall – a fantastic event. Big congratulations to Rachael on taking first local lady prize 👏🏼
Meanwhile in Randalstown James G, James McL and Daniel took on the challenge of their first Hyrox competition! Autumn hills and speed sessions are going to be fun chasing that trio 😬
The trip to the Rathlin Run was well worth it for Niamh who came home 🥈in the 10 miler. Also running was James Leech who is loving life in the Glens 🙂
On Sunday morning we had the McCooke 5k at Limepark in Armoy. Marie and Paudie made the short trip over Orra with Marie taking the win round the 2 lap course🥇🤩
A bright and breezy morning on the coast for the Larne Half. We had Rose, Mary, Ciara and Niamh H running and smashing it as usual 👏🏼
